Maintenance of Certification Part II Lifelong Learning and Self-Assessment Requirements
- Complete an average of 30 specialty or subspecialty AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ annually (averaged over three years).
- Diplomates are required to participate in ABPN-approved broad-based self-assessment activities. An average of 8 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (annually), should involve self-assessment (averaged over three years).
- An institutional or ABPN-approved patient safety activity must be performed only once in a diplomate’s career, either three years before or within the first three years of participation.

The suite of courses will introduce you to the fundamentals of patient safety, and explain why to err is human. You’ll dive into content about teamwork and communication, explore root cause analysis and the aftermath of adverse events, and discover the critical components comprising a culture of safety.
ACTRIMS Forum 2021 Interstate Postgraduate Medical Association
The ACTRIMS (America’s Committee on Treatment and Research in MS) Forum 2021 is a scientific meeting that provides an environment to critically evaluate advances in research, technology, and its impact on care for patients with multiple sclerosis. As we move into our sixth annual ACTRIMS Forum, we remain committed to presenting a comprehensive educational program and cutting-edge science through a virtual stage on February 25—27, 2021.
Themed The Spectrum of Multiple Sclerosis, it is anticipated 1,000 researchers, clinicians, young
investigators, postdoctoral fellows, and educators from the US, Canada, and international countries will
participate. The meeting format includes more than 30 lectures and the involvement of more than 40
faculty members from leading academic centers. Sessions will be available on ACTRIMS’ educational
platform for review 6-months post meeting.
