Description of CME Course
A woman in her 70s presents with class III heart failure and preserved left ventricular systolic function. Her medical history is remarkable for coronary artery disease, chronic stable angina, severe tricuspid regurgitation, atrial fibrillation, and obesity. She previously underwent successful CardioMEMS implantation, and her medications include treatment with torsemide, metolazone, metoprolol, spironolactone, isosorbide mononitrate, diltiazem, and ranolazine. One and a half weeks after implantation, sensor readings are difficult to obtain, but after the patient lies on her stomach, readings are obtained normally. What would you do next?
