Description of CME Course
Physicians have a responsibility to take action to avoid harm in cases of impairment, whether it be their own or a colleague’s. As part of the Physician Wellness and Professional Conduct series, this Code of Medical Ethics module describes types of impairment, as well as the implications and responsibilities physicians have to themselves and other physicians in maintaining a safe environment. Learn to identify impairment in physicians, the negative impact on patient care, and the systems in place that can help impaired physicians.
