Description of CME Course

“Re-emerging Pathogens: An Infection Control Town Hall” is a live, virtual event that will explore re-emerging pathogens taking center stage, including the recent discovery of poliovirus in wastewater and the rise of measles cases worldwide. This event will focus on answering your questions related to recognizing and controlling the spread of these and other pathogens. The Town Hall will be hosted by Dr. Erica Kaufman West, Director of Infectious Diseases at the AMA, and the questions will be answered by Dr. Abigail Carlson from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
