Description of CME Course

Understanding the history behind a patient’s lack of trust in a care plan will help you approach and communicate with patients more effectively. This module explores the distinctions between medical distrust and mistrust and how the history of medical experimentation and substandard care provided to people from racial and ethnic minority groups is at the root of mistrust and distrust in these communities.
