CME Provider: National Comprehensive Cancer Network

Description of CME Course

Many factors can influence treatment selection for patients with prostate cancer, including risk stratification strategies, appropriate treatment options for patients with non-metastatic recurrence after maximal pelvic-directed therapy, considerations for selecting treatments for patients with metastatic castration-sensitive and metastatic castration-resistant disease, and supportive care needs to optimize care of patients with prostate cancer. The NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology (NCCN Guidelines®) for Prostate Cancer have been updated to reflect advances in the comprehensive care of patients with prostate cancer. It is important for clinicians to be aware of new and emerging options in the management of prostate cancer so that they can develop individualized treatment plans for their patients.
