Description of CME Course

Pharmacogenomics (PGx), or the study of how a patient’s genetic code may impact their response to medication and treatment, is a growing area of patient care. While physicians can be great champions and resources for patients interested in PGx, they are often one member of a larger Pharmacogenomics-focused care team. By effectively communicating PGx concepts through education and resources, providers can help convey information about PGx to patients and other health care providers.
