Description of CME Course

Growing evidence underscores the importance of risk reduction, early detection, and timely diagnostic evaluation across the AD continuum. Healthcare professionals on the front lines of care—including primary care clinicians and general specialists—may encounter or manage patients at any point along this continuum and are uniquely positioned to promote healthy brain practices, identify early cognitive changes, and initiate appropriate evaluation and management strategies. Despite evolving clinical insights and emerging diagnostic innovations, several healthcare and practice gaps persist, indicating suboptimal cognitive health promotion in clinical practice. This activity will help diplomates improve strategies and skills for incorporating risk assessment into routine clinical care, integrating blood-based biomarkers into practice workflows, and assist with developing treatment plans that address cognitive decline.
