Description of CME Course
This particular event is a re-stream of CME Track which was originally livestreamed during our 2021 Annual Meeting on Friday, July 30, 2021. All three CME tracks held during our 2021 Annual Meeting were previously approved by multiple ABMS specialty boards as an ABMS MOC Part II CME Activity. This particular CME track was planned to support physicians in accomplishing the following goals:
1. Successfully navigate Florida’s medical landscape; and
2. Comply with specific state requirements (screening and making appropriate referrals for human trafficking and domestic violence, improved prescribing habits, and implementing practices to minimize medical errors);

After completing this CME track. learners will be able to :
1. Address key issues that affect Florida-licensed physicians and comply with educational mandates related to human trafficking, domestic violence, prescribing, and medical errors
2. Recognize the top legal and ethical issues currently affecting Florida-licensed physicians
3. Screen patients suspected of being human trafficking or domestic violence victims and provide helpful resources and tools
4. Prescribe controlled substances more safely and effectively
