Description of CME Course

This is the twelfth of 17 modules in our hypertension in pregnancy series and focuses on the Institute of Safe Medication Practices (ISMP) recommendations for the safe administration of parenteral magnesium sulfate for seizure prophylaxis to reduce the risk of harm to pregnant and postpartum women and mitigate risk exposure.
