Description of CME Course
This activity is comprised of five multiple-choice questions based on the content of an AMA Journal of Ethics podcast on dietary supplement safety and the limited legal means of reining in social media influencers’ advertisements about dietary supplements. Featured guests are Dr Amy Cadwallader, director of regulatory and public policy development for the US Pharmacopoeia; Joshua Klein, a JD candidate at DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois; and Scott Schweikart, a senior research associate for the American Medical Association Council on Ethical and Judicial Affairs in Chicago, Illinois, where he is also the legal editor for the AMA Journal of Ethics. The target audience for this activity includes clinicians of all specialties as well as other health care professionals.
