Description of CME Course
This activity is comprised of five multiple-choice questions based on the content of an AMA Journal of Ethics podcast about the rise of states of “chronic emergency,” how health care workers can be protected when working conflict zones, and how the international community needs to move beyond declarations to support those affected by war and conflict. The featured guest is Dr Thalia Arawi, the founding director of the Salim El-Hoss Bioethics and Professionalism Program at the American University of Beirut Faculty of Medicine and Medical Center in Lebanon. The target audience for this activity includes clinicians of all specialties as well as other health care professionals.
