Educational Objectives
• Learn the chronic disease model of SUD and use person first language to reduce stigma • Learn unique properties of non-pharmaceutical fentanyl and its emerging impact on adolescents • Learn the basics of medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD), with a focus on Buprenorphine • Learn what is FDA-approved versus off-label, and special considerations for using MOUD in adolescents • Learn about the Peer Support intervention and how Peers can partner with healthcare teams
