Educational Objectives
1. Allow for a safe learning environment within which attendees can address knowledge gaps and gain confidence in general terminology pertaining to gender-affirming care.
2. Increase the likelihood that patients seeking care in attendees’ practices will encounter a gender-affirming environment, including the electronic record, physical space and staff interactions.
3. Increase readiness and comfort of attendees to initiate and manage gender-affirming medical therapy, including hormones and puberty blockers.
