Description of CME Course

The purpose of this 8-session ECHO program is to provide community-based organizations with training and practical tools to start or strengthen digital literacy and digital health navigation by integrating into their existing work and equipping staff with the knowledge and skills to support community members in accessing, understanding, and using digital health technologies.

Educational Objectives

1) Integrate and expand digital literacy and digital health navigation within existing CBO services, improving community access to digital health care.
2) Address common barriers to digital health access, including connectivity issues, limited digital skills, lack of devices or internet access, accessibility needs, and system complexity.
3) Recognize and respond to diverse community needs across language, literacy, age, and technology experience when supporting digital health engagement.
4) Apply foundational digital skills to help community members use digital health services.
5) Strengthen partnerships and engagement strategies with health systems and cross-sector organizations to better support digital health access for underserved
