Description of CME Course
The goal of this 12-session ECHO program is to equip of primary care providers (PCPs) and their teams to deliver equitable, affirming care to neurodivergent adults, particularly autistic individuals and those with ADHD, by addressing systemic healthcare disparities and improving access, quality and patient-provider relationships.

Educational Objectives
• Identify and diagnose autism and ADHD in adults, including those with missed or late diagnoses
• Implement individualized accommodation and communication strategies to support neurodivergent patients during and between healthcare visits
• Treat ADHD and commonly co-occurring mental and physical health conditions in neurodivergent adults
• Recognize and address factors contributing to behavior change, functional decline, disengagement from care, or suicide risk
• Partner with patients and caregivers to support autonomy, shared decision-making, and person-centered care
• Navigate and connect patients to disability-related services and supports that promote health and independence
• Understand neurodiversity as a key component of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and provide neuro-affirming, trauma-informed care
