Description of CME Course

Creating and managing your online presence can be a challenge, but recent studies show that it may be of vital importance for today’s physicians. This course introduces health care professionals to the nuances of personal branding, including strategies for identifying a target audience, assessing risks and obstacles, and finding avenues for building a credible ‘brand voice’ through consistency and style.

This course is focused on increasing a physician’s online presence by interacting within the digital mediascape – whether that be through social media, blogging, personal websites or other avenues. Through an exploration of these and other topics, physicians will develop strategies to increase and improve their online presence.
