Description of CME Course
For the FMA’s 2024 Annual Meeting, three CME tracks have been planned to support physicians in accomplishing the following goals:
1. Successfully navigate Florida’s medical landscape;
2. Comply with specific state requirements (screening and making appropriate referrals for human trafficking and domestic violence, improved prescribing habits, and implementing practices to minimize medical errors);
3. Highlight a comprehensive approach to obesity medicine and provide insightful clinical information and strategies to support sensible weight loss for adult and pediatric patients across various weight ranges and health profiles.; and
4. Broaden learners’ view of cerebrovascular disease and stroke, and provide insights as to how practitioners can support the improvement of pertinent care in Florida.

Educational Objectives
After completing all three CME tracks at FMA 2024 Annual Meeting. learners will be able to:
1. Address key issues that affect Florida-licensed physicians and comply with educational mandates related to human trafficking, domestic violence, prescribing, and medical errors.
2. Incorporate featured strategies and resources to support sensible weight loss for adult and pediatric patients across various weight ranges and health profiles.
3. Utilize resources and tips shared to support their care of patients who may be affected by cerebrovascular disease/stroke.
