Description of CME Course
Diagnostic error in medicine has been estimated at about 10% or more from claims data, autopsies, and retrospective studies. A growing body of literature on this topic is reviewed by the acknowledged expert Mark Graber who has studied, lectured and published extensively on the subject. Graber dissects the systems-related and cognitive sources of error and proposes a number of concrete things physicians can do to reduce diagnostic error in their practice.
Diplomate Engagement
- Pre- and Post-test results with feedback to the diplomate.
- Evaluation Survey upon completion of the course.
