CME Provider: American Psychoanalytic Association

Description of CME Course

Mental health professionals are increasingly challenged by the accelerating adoption of Artificial Intelligence. The rapid pace of development as this technology races to AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) means that professional best practices lag behind both the challenges and opportunities that are emerging. This 2-hour virtual session is designed to keep psychologists, psychotherapists, psychoanalysts, physicians, social workers, psychiatrists, counselors, nurses, and all other mental healthcare professionals current in this rapidly shifting field of artificial intelligence and how to bridge the gap of understanding the need to understand how and why AI entities are being developed and used, along with how to use them from a critical, reflective stance.
