Description of CME Course

Mayo Clinic Applied Quality Essentials is a learning and self-assessment activity and aims to evaluate the physician’s knowledge in quality improvement concepts and methods. Mayo Clinic Applied Quality Essentials crosses all disciplines and clinical settings. The following key themes align with ABMS patient safety standards document and are incorporated in the questions and reference material for this module: patient safety, error identification, effect of systems, human factors, communication, culture of safety, methods and tools for evaluating quality and safety events. There are no prerequisites for this course.
