Description of CME Course
This is an internet enduring material . A highlight of CE in most clinical specialties is an “update” course that specifically strives to encapsulate what folks in the field have learned recently. Last year we offered our first iteration of an update course in clinical informatics that was received very well by the CI professional community. This year we wish to offer a current and updated course relevant to the recent advances in the field of clinical informatics. The primary goal of the activity is: What should a clinical informatician know about recent advances in the domain of clinical informatics in order to be more effective? In sum, the activity will consist of a number of talks given by DMICE faculty that will focus on recent developments in the field. Each talk should be about an hour long (for appropriate CME credit assignation). The activity will be hosted on the Sakai learning management system.
