Description

PREP ICU is a self-directed activity that helps pediatric ICU specialists assess their areas of strengths as well as keep current on new developments in the field while preparing for re-certification in pediatric critical care. Eight new questions are presented each month. The activity offers rigorously peer-reviewed questions and critiques, written by specialists for specialists, which are mapped to the American Board of Pediatrics content specifications in pediatric critical care. Each critique includes a detailed discussion of the preferred response and clearly identifies which content specification(s) it addresses.

Diplomate Engagement

In addition to an annual evaluation presented at the end of the year, approximately 14-16 questions designed to change practice, survey learners by asking if they plan to make a change in practice based on what they learned in the question/critique presented.
