Description of CME Course
PREP Endocrinology is a self-directed activity that helps pediatric endocrinologists assess their areas of strengths as well as keep current on new developments in the field while preparing for re-certification in pediatric endocrinology. Eight new questions are presented each month. The activity offers rigorously peer-reviewed questions and critiques, written by specialists for specialists, which are mapped to the American Board of Pediatrics content specifications in pediatric endocrinology. Each critique includes a detailed discussion of the preferred response and clearly identifies which content specification(s) it addresses.
In learning mode, there is immediate feedback regarding the correct response as well as a histogram displaying how a learners’ peers selected each answer choice. Each monthly assessment of eight questions allows learners to view their aggregate performance.
