This course is designed for pediatricians, family physicians, and allied health professionals who provide care to children and adolescents. The focus will be on practical approaches to problems commonly seen in the office, as well as effective methods for improving the pediatric office visit. This will include updates on formulas and vitamins, pediatric chronic pain, suicide screening, common infectious disease cases, tic disorders, and a series of top pediatric cases in endocrinology, emergency medicine, otolaryngology, and neurology. Saturday is a half day of sports medicine updates, to address recent public concerns on the dangers of concussions, eating disorders, and nutrition among you athletes.
